The main Tablet region acts just like any other tablet region;
"Set" and "Clr" set the tablet reference point and clear the traces,
as usual.
There are six narrow buttons to the right of the tablet. The A with a
circumflex is standing in for a long arrow; it means "To Top of Page".
The ^ below it is Page Up, with the v standing in for Page Down.
The capital V is "To Bottom of Page".
Stuck in the lower-right corner (part of the six buttons in that column)
are "Insert Writing Space" (the equals, which looks sort of like the
Insert Writing Space icon) and "Open Side Note Window", the SN button.
Note that the Open Side Note Window button only works while OneNote
is active, because it gets to it from menu surfing.
blk/blu/grn/red activate the black, blue, green, and red fine-tip pens,
respectively; BK/BL/GR/RD activate the black, blue, green, and red
bold-tip pens. These also work by menu surfing, because there are no
"pen select" keystrokes in the program. OneNote therefore takes a little bit
to process them (RD is "ALT-t, w, p, down arrow, down arrow, down arrow,
down arrow, down arow, down arrow, down arrow, enter)- wait for the menus
to disappear before using. If you've re-defined the properties of any of
your pens, PPC Tablet will obviously wind up using those, because that's all
it can do. Furthermore, if your pen menu is "folded", which I don't think
it can ever do, it will misfire and probably hit a random pen.
Ylw/Grn/Trq/Pnk are the same, except for the yellow, green, turquoise,
and pink highlighters, respectively. Ers activates the small eraser;
there are no buttons for the medum, large, or stroke erasers as the size of
the PocketPC screen makes it such that a larger eraser might do more damage
than good. Del just presses the "delete" key on your keyboard, generally
erasing whatever is selected. Finally, the "Sel" button activates the regular
(non-drawing) cursor again.
