1. Connect your Pocket PC to your desktop computer to start an ActiveSync connection, either with your sync cable or over your TCP/IP network.
   
   
2. If you are using a Pocket PC 2002 device, please use the links in the download page to download and install Microsoft .NET Compact Framework if you haven't done it before. If you are using a Pocket PC 2003, 2003 SE or Windows Mobile 5.0 device, you don't need to do anything. If you are not sure what version of Pocket PC system you have, you can skip this step and continue with the installation. When you later install the PPC Tablet software, you will be prompted with an error message if .NET Compact Framework is missing. At that point, you can come back to this step and install the framework.
   
   
3. Download PPC Tablet 4.0 from the download page if you haven't done so. It is a ZIP file.
   
   
4. Extract the ZIP file to a temporary folder, using your unzip program of choice. (All Windows XP systems come with a built-in unzip utility. The other users may consider using WinZip or other unzip utilities.)
   
   
5. In the temporary folder, run "Setup.exe". You will see the following screen.
   
6. Click "Next" and following the instructions to complete the installation wizard. At the end of the installation, the wizard will install PPC Tablet software onto your Pocket PC device. (If you receive an error message saying that .NET Compact Framework is missing, please go back to step 2 to install it. Then run step 5 again.)
   
   
7. Congratulations! The installation is now complete. Please go to the online User Manual to learn how to use this software.
   
   

If at any time you wish to uninstall this software, please go to "Start > (All) Programs > PPC Tablet 4.0 > Uninstall PPC Tablet" on your desktop or laptop computer. The program will immediately be removed from your computer. Then, on your Pocket PC, go to "Settings > System tab > Remove Programs". Select "AMD PPC Tablet" and click "Remove". Now PPC Tablet is completely uninstalled from your computer and Pocket PC. Thanks for trying our PPC Tablet software.
